Notice Regarding the Video Surveillance System
Article 76 (3) and (4) of ZVOP-2 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia 163/2022)
The video surveillance system is operated by NGEN d.o.o. in the areas, premises, and facilities of NGEN d.o.o. and its subsidiaries.

2. Purpose and Scope of Video Surveillance and Explanation of Legitimate Interest
NGEN d.o.o. conducts video surveillance within the legal framework where the purpose cannot be achieved by less intrusive means, for the following purposes:
Safety of people and property,
Protection of classified information and business secrets,
Ensuring the security of workspaces and controlling entry and exit to/from facilities.
The above purposes represent the legitimate interest of the controller. On this legal basis, video surveillance is conducted.
3. Collection of Personal Data and Authorized Persons
The operation of video surveillance generates a collection of personal data, which is recorded in the Video Recording Usage Log. The following data are collected:
Image of the person,
Location of the recording,
Date and time of the recording.
4. Retention Period of Video Surveillance Recordings
Video surveillance recordings are retained for 7 days, after which they are permanently deleted.
5. Transfer of Video Recordings to Third Countries
Video recordings are not transferred to third countries.
6. Existence of Automated Decision-Making, Including Profiling
This is not carried out.
7. Information on Specific Effects of Processing, Especially Further Processing
This is not carried out.
8. Unusual Further Processing
This is not carried out.
9. Rights
The Constitution of the Republic of Slovenia and applicable European and Slovenian regulations guarantee a range of rights regarding privacy and personal data protection. In the case of video surveillance, the following rights are emphasized:
The right to be informed about the processing of your personal data,
The right to access personal data or the right to view the video surveillance recording that pertains to the person in the recording,
The right to obtain a copy of personal data (video recordings) being processed if there is a legitimate interest,
The right to rectification (blurring or anonymization), deletion, or restriction of processing of the video surveillance recording,
The right to object means that you can object to certain types of personal data processing (public interests, legitimate interests of the controller, marketing purposes) at any time, and the controller must prove the legitimate interests for processing or cease processing.

If a breach of personal data protection occurs and it is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you of the breach without undue delay. The competent state authority for handling violations of personal data protection regulations is the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana.
