Business Analyst – Energy Markets & BESS (m/w/d)

13. September 2026
NGEN – Next Generation Energy represents the dawn of a new energy era: a fully digitized and decentralized European power system. As a technology leader in the system integration of battery storage and smart energy system solutions, we combine full-EPC, Virtual Power Plant (VPP), and multi-market trading. Our in-house systems (ESGP trading software and Synaptic hardware) have been field-tested over many years and securely connect storage systems, generators, and consumers across Europe in compliance with the GDPR. With 12 locations in Europe and Australia, over 200 employees, annual revenue of around 125 million EUR, and over 10,000 installed systems, we are building the energy grids of tomorrow — with energy system solutions that deliver a return on investment. An exciting and responsible role in the field of energy trading awaits you. Contribute your expertise in a dynamic environment and help us develop innovative software solutions. Benefit from diverse opportunities for growth and development in a forward-thinking company.

  • Building and refining sales tools (Excel/Power BI/Python) for standardized proposal calculations.

  • Supporting the sales team during proposal and negotiation phases: arguments, key metrics, economic viability, and risk assessment.

  • Aligning project assumptions with internal technical teams (e.g., EMS/Trading/Asset Integration) and identifying conflicts or ambiguities
